What we believe
We are part of the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Ireland.
The title ‘Reformed’ refers to the time of the reformation when the truths of the bible were rediscovered by the church. We believe that these eternal truths are as relevant for us today as they were when God first gave them.
The name ‘Presbyterian’ (derived from the Greek word for ‘elder’) refers to the way our church is organised and overseen. Our congregation is organised and overseen under the leadership of a number of elders. A number of congregations are grouped together within a presbytery for mutual support and fellowship and the elders in these congregations oversee the congregations within the presbytery.
